Gregg Alwine
Managing Partner

Gregg is an accomplished technologist and entrepreneur, specializing in the operationalization of technology to accomplish immediate business objectives and generate long-term asset value.

For more than 15 years, Gregg has been a central figure in the evolution of Internet, mobile and social marketing platforms and standards.  As the owner and CEO, former CTO of Aspen Marketing and B-12 Marketing, and advisor for many of the world’s leading marketers, including Kraft Foods, McDonald’s, and Hasbro, Gregg pioneered many of the internet and mobile-based marketing technology techniques commonplace today.

Gregg leverages his experience running dynamic, technology-delivery oriented businesses to assist other corporations struggling with their technology operations, or seeking to maximize their technology asset value.  He provides hands-on, impactful intervention, planning, restructuring, team-building and remediation solutions for companies ranging from new VC-backed ventures such as and Ryzing, LLC, to mid-sized companies such as and, and large corporations such as Hearst and Standard and Poors.  In this role, Gregg has directly managed more than 1000 staff members, delivered projects valuing more than $100MM, and helped bring about almost $1B in equity transactions.

Gregg attended the University of Maine and Salem University, and has a degree in Communications.  He is a husband, and father of one daughter.  His passions include playing soccer, boating and bike riding, and any other sport he gets a chance to play.  Gregg is also an owner of In The Clover Equestrian, LLC, a family business dedicated to raising and training competitive show ponies and horses.


David Barnett
Managing Partner

David is a seasoned entrepreneur and business executive, specializing in the creation, execution and management of financial, technical, human resource and operational infrastructure for fast-growth companies. No stranger to businesses, ranging from startups to public corporations, David has successfully taken early stage entities from end-to-end, delivering significant value and viable exit strategies.

David founded Corsis Technology Services Inc. in the early 1990s and as President, steadily led its growth, evolving its business model to adjust to the changes in the technology landscape brought on by the emergence of the Internet.  David grew the company from two employees to over 100, with offices spanning across several U.S. cities. Under his leadership, David took an active role in building the client base to include Standard & Poor’s, Kraft Foods, Hasbro, NBC/Universal, and among many others. Additionally, David invested in and assumed an operational role in several early-stage businesses throughout the digital photography, mobile marketing and development industries.

Throughout his career, David has harnessed his ability in organic and acquisitive growth for companies of all sizes. Most notably in 2007, David took the lead role in acquiring, a leading provider of online games of chance, from NBC Universal (NYSE: GE) and merged the newly acquired company into Corsis. Shortly thereafter David completed a sale of Corsis/ to the (NASDAQ: TSCM). In 2009, David was instrumental in buying back Corsis/ from He now oversees day-to-day operations at Marshall Junction Partners, including investment analysis and portfolio company oversight.

Community involvement and volunteerism have always been very key components to David’s life and in that regard, David currently serves on the Springfield New Jersey Township Committee. In addition, David has been the Chairman of the Planning Board, Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Chairman of the Development Review Committee among other township positions. David holds a business degree from Hofstra University, and currently lives with his wife and two children.
