Corsis, a Marshall Junction Partners company, today announced that it has been named “U.S. Systems & IT Due Diligence Provider of the Year” by Acquisition International Magazine.
Following a number of recent IT due diligence projects, Corsis had been nominated by its peers and clients as a candidate for the 2013 M&A Award for its IT auditing capabilities. The award, presented by Acquisition International Magazine, recognizes the excellence and achievements of those involved in seeing a transaction through to completion. The New York City-based IT services firm has played an integral role in several recent deals for venture capital firms using its Corsis Confidence IndexTM to evaluate scalability and growth potential. The award comes just months following IT due diligence projects for a number of organizations, most notably an IT audit during the Coaxis, Inc. acquisition of 4Projects, a provider of secure online collaboration solutions for building and infrastructure industries, using its Corsis Confidence IndexTM.
During the transaction, Corsis IT advisory services and assessment team had applied the Corsis Confidence Index℠ against two IT audit tracks, Software Architecture and Network Infrastructure. Led by President Thomas Shelford, Corsis IT auditors evaluated the feasibility of integrating 4Projects software into the Viewpoint Construction Software suite, and assessed the potential of deploying it across a large-scale global SaaS infrastructure.
“Given Acquisition International’s global reputation and strong readership, being named among some of the leading firms in M&A is truly an honor,” expressed David Barnett, Marshall Junction Partners Managing Partner and Corsis Chief Operating Officer. “As recipient of this global award, not only will our firm receive worldwide recognition, it’s truly a testament to our emergence throughout the technology services industry as we continue to expand our portfolio across a number of verticals.”
